Membership
Eligibility
Section titled “Eligibility”North Star Racing may, but is not required to, accept as a North Star Member any individual or business entity interested in simulated online racing, so long as the individual or entity has joined the community in good faith, agreed to abide by the North Star Racing Rules & Regulations, and is in good standing in the iRacing community. North Star Racing is dedicated to the highest degree of professionalism, sportsmanship, and integrity in simulated online racing. For that reason, * may reject the membership of an otherwise qualified member in the interest of North Star and its partners**. Among other things, participation or involvement by any person or business entity in conduct detrimental to simulated online racing or to North Star, whether in the course of competition or not, may result in rejection of membership by North Star.
Membership Status
Section titled “Membership Status”Upon joining the North Star Community Discord server, individuals immediately agree to abide by the North Star Rules & Regulations. Upon agreeing to the rules, membership is granted to individuals automatically. Members must be in good standing with iRacing.com and join the community in good faith. Each member assumes all responsibility for their actions while participating in North Star as a Member.
Suspension
Section titled “Suspension”North Star Racing may suspend a member for a definite or indefinite period of time in the interest of simulated online racing or North Star. Such members may appeal such a suspension via the Appeals and Protests procedure. Such members shall have no right to receive, and North Star Racing shall not be obligated to refund, any part of all of the fees previously paid by the member to North Star Racing.
Voluntary Termination
Section titled “Voluntary Termination”A member may terminate their membership at any time by voluntarily leaving the Discord server. Such members shall have no right to receive, and North Star Racing shall not be obligated to refund, any part of all of the fees previously paid by the member to North Star Racing.
Involuntary Termination
Section titled “Involuntary Termination”North Star Racing may terminate a membership at any time in the interest of simulated online racing or North Star Racing. Such members may appeal such a termination via the Appeals and Protests procedure. Such members shall have no right to receive, and North Star Racing shall not be obligated to refund, any part of all of the fees previously paid by the member to North Star Racing.
Ejection
Section titled “Ejection”North Star Administrators or Series Directors may eject a member from an event to promote the orderly conduct of the event. An ejection is final, and non-appealable.
