This will be the standard Driver’s championship with the format that NASCAR determines for the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series. This format has yet to be announced. When the format is announced, it will be fully outlined below.

This championship format will use standard NASCAR scoring (stage points + race points), but in a full 36-race format. The driver with the most points at the end of the 36-race season is the Full Season Champion.

The top two drivers from each team will have their points combined from the Full Season Championship format. The team with the most points at the end of the 36-race season is the Owner’s Champion.

The North Star Truck Series is designed to replicate the distinctive style of racing found in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series within the iRacing environment. Emphasizing close competition, aggressive yet respectful racecraft, and the unique dynamics of truck racing, the series delivers fast-paced events that reward adaptability and situational awareness. Fixed setups are utilized to reduce complexity and barriers to entry, fostering a more relaxed and accessible competitive environment while maintaining a strong focus on realism and on-track authenticity.
